Although each of us might define happiness differently, it’s something we all desire. Many of us wait for and depend on the incredible moments in life—getting a promotion at work, falling in love, or going on vacation—to experience happiness. While there will always be highs and lows in life, we have the ability to experience contentment (nearly) every day. How? By having an attitude of acceptance. Letting things be, without forcing life to conform to rigid expectations. Working with what life offers rather than compulsively trying to control it.

Acceptance is the first step in the right direction to leading a healthier and happier life. Accepting reality for the way it is will allow you to move forward.

In this guided meditation, Rose gives you the tools to accept yourself and accept reality for the way it is. Whether it’s a difficult decision you made, the direction your career has taken, or the relationship you’re in, acceptance will create the space for new thoughts, a new direction and a new life to come in.

I just got out of an 11 year relationship where I was cheated on, lied to, manipulated, mentally and physically abused. I feel angry, hurt, damaged, and cold. I feel like I’m not good enough and like everything thats happened is my fault. I dislike my appearance because if the things ive been through and I don’t know where to begin with this healing process. Or if I even have any love to offer anyone else or if I’ll be able to trust anyone else.

Jessenia, Wow, sounds like you’ve been through a tough time–kudos to you for walking away! That alone says your worth it! This is a transitional time for you–allow yourself time to heal. Process your emotions–don’t push yourself too hard your life will fall back into place in time.
      Hope this was helpful.
      Thank you for sharing.
