I’ve spent plenty of time in and out of hospitals, for years when my dad was sick and now with my ailing mother, and I can’t say that I’m fond of them but when I saw this act of kindness from a hospital crew and a patient it’s rewired my outlook on the subject forever.

The big-hearted staff at Florida Hospital came together to help a patient who couldn’t leave the building due to his cancer treatment. They knew he wanted to arrange a date night for his wife, so they brought date night to him! The surprise on his wife’s face and they joy between them is palpable.
