21 Ways To Transform Your Habits and Reach Your Full Potential

I recently had the pleasure of speaking with Shannon Kaiser, life coach, teacher and best-selling author of Find Your Happy and Adventures for Your Soul. She is also the founder of PlayWithTheWorld.com, an award-winning website for personal growth. With a youthful, vibrant approach, Shannon inspires people to live authentically and embrace their true selves.

In her 20s, Shannon worked in the corporate world, but she also started suffering from depression and drug addiction. Rather than following her own inner guide, she took a path that wasn’t her own. When finally hitting rock bottom, Shannon realized that she needed to find her own way forward.

Shannon started by listening to her inner voice, discovering there is a better way to live. After asking herself, “What does my heart want?” Shannon became a travel writer and, later, led workshops on how to be happy.

Adventures For Your Soul is about allowing yourself to be who you really are.

Many of us resist or deny facing where we are in the present moment or difficult circumstance. The turning point for Shannon, as it can be for all of us, was appreciating what those difficult years had taught her, and reframing her perspective: “Our problems are actually pathways.”

“Start to think of the rock bottoms in your life as divine interventions. We are always where we are supposed to be.” Shannon Kaiser
